After arriving at Noi Bai International Airport, you are met by our driver and guide. Get picked up and transferred to your hotel, located in the city center. Relax after your flight. Take a good night’s rest in Hanoi City.
Breakfast at the hotel before going about a full day in Hanoi. Pay a visit to Ho Chi Minh Complex, comprising Ho Chi Minh’s House, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, and One Pillar Pagoda. Take a sightseeing tour of Temple of Literature – the Vietnam’s first university up to 1,000 years old. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant, and then you continue the trip to Hoan Kiem Lake, Museum of Ethnology, and Ngoc Son Temple. Explore Hanoi Old Quarter by rickshaw for one hour. Have dinner at your expense before being taken to the train station and leaving for Sapa. Overnight in a comfortable air-conditioned soft sleeper cabin.
As soon as the train hits Lao Cai Station at about 6:00AM, you will be transferred to Sapa. Have breakfast and go on a trek downhill to Y Linh Ho Village, nestled in Muong Hoa Valley. Go for a walk through alluring rice paddies and tiny hamlets whereby you can perceive the idyllic life of hill tribes in the mountainous region. An exciting thing is to chat with the locals in Lao Cai Village. Keep wandering through villages and terraced paddy fields to Ta Van Village, inhabited by the Dzay ethnic people. Do a picnic lunch en route and then proceed towards the base of Sapa Valley. Travel back to Sapa in the afternoon and have a night’s rest at your hotel in Sapa.
Breakfast is available at your hotel. Commence a downhill trek to Cat Cat Village – the habitat of Black H’Mong tribe. Witness a beautiful waterfall in the village and an imposing panorama of the rural area on the way. Be driven by jeep back to Sapa in order to check out of the hotel. Do lunch at a local restaurant and then travel by car to the habitat of the Red Dao community. After that, roam around the village to know more about their daily life, customs and weaving techniques. Come back to Lao Cai and take an overnight train back to Hanoi.
Upon arrival in Hanoi in the early morning, get picked up and transferred to your hotels, situated in the old quarter. Take a shower and have breakfast before travelling to Halong City. Immerse in the perspective of peaceful paddy fields in the Red River Delta. Make a stop en route for the rest. On arrival, board the junk, take a sip of a welcome drink, and check in to enter your cabin. Lunch is served on board. Leisurely cruise on the bay to peer down into spectacular views of this UNESCO world natural heritage site; especially see limestone cliffs which emerge from the turquoise water. Move through Ga Choi Island, Dinh Huong Island, Sail Island, and Dog Island. Pay a visit to Vung Vieng fishing village by local rowing boat for one hour or go kayaking into the village. Go back to the junk and spend some time at leisure or do one of the interesting activities: swimming, sunbathing, or traditional massage. Have dinner and chill out among the tranquility of the bay. Take a good night’s rest on board.
Wake up in the early morning (about 6:00AM) and do Tai chi exercise on the sundeck and then have pastries, coffee, and tea for breakfast. Explore Sung Sot Cave for approximately 45 minutes. Travel back to the boat.
9:00AM – 11:30AM Check out of the junk. Savor a set menu brunch while cruising back to Tuan Chau Wharf. Kick back in the dining room or on the sundeck.
11:30AM: Be transferred to Tuan Chau Wharf, and bid farewell to the crew. Return to Hanoi. Be driven to Noi Bai Airport and make the departure for Hue City. Get picked up and transferred to your hotel. Savor dinner on your own account. Stay overnight at your hotel in Hue.
Breakfast at your hotel and then take a boat trip on Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, the royal tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, and the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang; those places are nestled in calm lakes and gardens. As for the afternoon trip, you will explore the ruins of Purple Forbidden City, Dong Ba Market and the Imperial Citadel, ruled by the Nguyen Dynasty from 1802 to 1945.Have dinner paid by your account. Take a boat trip for Hue folksong music. Have a night’s rest at your hotel of your choice in Hue City.
Savor breakfast and depart for Hoi An. Have a stop at Hai Van Pass, Marble Mountain, and Lang Co Beach for photos and sightseeing. Go to lunch at a local restaurant. Take an afternoon trip to visit Japanese Covered Bridge, Cantonese congregation, Old House of Tan Ky, Danang-styled temples, pagodas, and Hoi An Silk Street. Have dinner at your expense and overnight at your hotel in Hoi An.
Breakfast is served at your hotel. Then, begin the trip to My Son, where you will witness Cham Holy Land, inserted in the UNESCO world heritage site list. Situated in a lush valley, My Son was once known as a religious and capital center of the Cham community, and now the remaining relic of sanctuaries and red brick towers. My Son is put in the same league of the other Southeast Asia’s greatest archaeological sites, such as Bagan in Myanmar, Angkor in Cambodia, Borobudur in Indonesia, and Ayutthaya in Thailand. Travel back to Hoi An and do lunch at a local restaurant. The afternoon is time for your own activities. Enjoy dinner at your expense and have a good night’s rest in hotel in Hoi An.
After breakfast at your hotel, be driven to Danang Airport and make a departure for Ho Chi Minh City. After reaching Tan Son Nhat Airport, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel. The first destination in Ho Chi Minh City tour is Reunification Palace, which was once the former habitat of President of South Vietnam until the end of April 1975. Make a visit to several stunning French colonial structures, consisting of Old Central Post Office, and Notre Dame Cathedral. Go to lunch at a local restaurant. Keep your trip to Thien Hau and Quan Am Pagoda. Explore the War Remnants Museum, Emperor Jade Pagoda, and Ben Thanh Market before ending the tour. Dinner is at your expense. Head towards Cao Dai Headquarters (Tay Ninh Province) after breakfast at your hotel. Upon arrival in Tay Ninh, join the fantastic mid-day prayer section of Caodaism. The religion is a combination of Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and then come back to Ho Chi Minh City. On the trip back to the city, pay a visit to Cu Chi Tunnels – an underground village with a complex system of tunnels made by Vietnamese guerrillas in the wartime. On reaching Ho Chi Minh City, enjoy dinner at your expense and stay overnight at your hotel.
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and leave for Cai Be. Embark and take a sip of a welcome drink. Start cruising down along the river and discover Cai Be Floating Market. Move through the maze of waterways in order to set foot in handicraft villages. Here, you will take a chance to meet friendly locals and taste luscious tropical fruits. After that, the junk sets sail to Can Tho City. While sipping aperitifs and soaking up the atmosphere at sunset, you are taken along Mekong River to Mang Thit. Have dinner and an overnight stay on board.
Wake up in the Mekong Delta and continue the cruise to Hau Giang River (Bassac River) to immerse in the charming scenery. On arrival in Can Tho, commence discovering Cai Rang Market, which is regarded as the most pulsating floating markets in the water region. There are plenty of small boats full of fruits, vegetables, and other commodities. Cruise along canals shaded by palm trees to gaze into traditional-style houses, local markets, and ship-building yards. Afterwards, disembark and go to lunch at a local restaurant (lunch at your expense). Come back to Ho Chi Minh City. On the way, stop at bonsai gardens in My Tho.
