DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY - CAI BE - SA DEC - CAN THO

Pick up at your hotel, departure for Cai Be which is about 100km from Ho Chi Minh city. Arrive in Phu An Jetty at 10:00 am. From the sampan, observe the natural scenery and the daily activities of the local people along the riversides. Enjoy tea and seasonal fruits on board.

Prior to arriving in Sa Dec, visit a traditional brick factory where everything is made by hand. Experience the monkey bridge that characterizes Southern culture and go through small villages. Visit Cao Dai temple which is built in 1926 is a place of worship for those who follow Cao Dai religion. The temple has a unique architectural style. It is one of the outstanding structures of South – East Asia.

Arrive in Sa Dec and visit the outdoor market. Explore Huynh Thuy Le ancient house. People who are fond of the French authoress Marguerite Duras may know her most celebrated novel awarded Goncourt Prize in 1984: “The Lover”. This house has documents about the Huynh family and pictures recalling the old love story of the authoress.

Have lunch on board and cruise towards Can Tho. Explore the beautiful countryside by the local boat. Come to an ancient house. The owner will welcome you and a candlelit dinner will be served. Return to the boat and cruise towards Hau River. Overnight on board.

DAY 2 - CAN THO – HO CHI MINH CITY

6:00 am: Visit the famous Cai Rang Floating Market which is the biggest floating market in Can Tho, approximately 200kms from Saigon. Have breakfast on board. Continue to cruise towards Victoria Can Tho and disembark at the hotel’s private jetty.

Return to Ho Chi Minh City. End your trip.
