DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – CAN THO – SA DEC

Pick up at your hotel. Depart to Can Tho which is about 169km to the South-West of Ho Chi Minh City.

10:00a.m Arrive at Victoria Can Tho Resort jetty. Relax on your private sampan with cold towels and a refreshing drink.

Cruise along the Mekong Delta, observe the local residents doing their daily activities. Enjoy tea, seasonal fruit and have lunch on board. Immerse in the fresh atmosphere and admire the beautiful nature.

Transfer to a small boat to explore the beautiful waterways and serene villages. Visit Huynh Thuy Le ancient house. Those who are fond of the French authoress Marguerite Duras may know her most celebrated novel awarded Goncourt Prize in 1984: “The Lover”. The ancient house has documents about the Huynh family and pictures recalling the old love story of the authoress. Have dinner at a local house. Enjoy night on board.

DAY 2: SA DEC – CAI BE 

6:30a.m Cruise in the early morning to enjoy fresh air. After having breakfast on board, visit Cao Dai temple which is constructed in 1926. It is a place of worship for those who follow Cao Dai religion. Then explore a small brick factory where everything is handmade.

Arrive at Cai Be, visit some factories that use rice and coconuts to make delicious local specialties such as puffed rice and chewy coconut candy. Have lunch at Le Longanier Restaurant. Return to Ho Chi Minh City. End your trip.
